Java Edition uses the default port, so the address is all you need.

Open Multiplayer
Launch Minecraft Java Edition (1.8 or newer) and select Multiplayer.
Select Add Server
Select Add Server, type Cookie Build as the server name and play.cookie-build.com as the server address.
Join Cookie Build
Select Done, then double-click Cookie Build in your server list (or select it and click Join Server).

Open Direct Connection
In the Multiplayer menu, select Direct Connection.
Join the server
Type play.cookie-build.com and select Join Server.
