How to join Cookie Build on Nintendo Switch

BedrockConnect is a free, open-source community service that turns a featured server into a menu where you can type any server address. It is not operated by Cookie Build.

   Open your network settings

   Go to System Settings → Internet → Internet Settings, select your network, then choose Change Settings.

   Set a manual DNS

   Set DNS Settings to Manual. Enter 104.238.130.180 as the primary DNS and 8.8.8.8 as the secondary DNS.

   Save and test

   Select Save, then test the connection.

   Open the Servers tab

   Launch Minecraft, select Play, then open the Servers tab.

   Join a featured server

   Join one of the featured servers that BedrockConnect can redirect (Mineville, Lifeboat, Enchanted, Galaxite, The Hive). The BedrockConnect server list opens instead of that server.

   Choose “Connect to a Server”

   In the BedrockConnect menu (always in English), select “Connect to a Server”.

   Enter Cookie Build’s details

   Type play.cookie-build.com in “Server Address” and 19132 in “Server Port”. Turn on “Add to server list” to find Cookie Build in the list next time.

   Join Cookie Build

   Submit the form: BedrockConnect transfers you straight to Cookie Build.

While the custom DNS is active, the redirected featured servers open BedrockConnect instead. If 104.238.130.180 doesn’t work, try one of the other community DNS servers listed below.
