How to join Cookie Build on PS4 and PS5

Minecraft on PlayStation has no “Add Server” button, only featured servers. You can still join Cookie Build in a few minutes with a DNS change, or with a helper app on the same Wi‑Fi.

BedrockConnect DNS method

Recommended

BedrockConnect is a free, open-source community service that turns a featured server into a menu where you can type any server address. It is not operated by Cookie Build.

Open your network settings
PS5: Settings → Network → Settings → Set Up Internet Connection, highlight your current connection and open Advanced Settings. PS4: Settings → Network → Set Up Internet Connection → Wi‑Fi or LAN cable → Custom → your network, then choose Automatic for IP Address Settings and Do Not Specify for DHCP Host Name.
Set a manual DNS
Set DNS Settings to Manual. Enter 45.55.68.52 as the primary DNS and 8.8.8.8 as the secondary DNS.
Save and test
PS5: select OK and wait for the connection test. PS4: choose Automatic for MTU Settings and Do Not Use for Proxy Server, then test the connection.
Open the Servers tab
Launch Minecraft, select Play, then open the Servers tab.
Join a featured server
Join one of the featured servers that BedrockConnect can redirect (Mineville, Lifeboat, Enchanted, Galaxite, The Hive). The BedrockConnect server list opens instead of that server.
Choose “Connect to a Server”
In the BedrockConnect menu (always in English), select “Connect to a Server”.
Enter Cookie Build’s details
Type play.cookie-build.com in “Server Address” and 19132 in “Server Port”. Turn on “Add to server list” to find Cookie Build in the list next time.
Join Cookie Build
Submit the form: BedrockConnect transfers you straight to Cookie Build.

While the custom DNS is active, the redirected featured servers open BedrockConnect instead. If 45.55.68.52 doesn’t work, try one of the other community DNS servers listed below.

How to undo it

Open the same network menu and set DNS Settings back to Automatic. On PS4, you can also run Set Up Internet Connection again and choose Easy.

LAN helper app (same Wi‑Fi)

A phone or computer on the same network as your console can make Cookie Build appear as a local (LAN) game.

Use the same network
Connect your phone or computer to the same Wi‑Fi or home network as your console.
On a phone: BedrockTogether
On Android or iOS, install BedrockTogether, enter play.cookie-build.com and port 19132, then tap “Run”.
Or on a computer: Phantom
On Windows, macOS or Linux, download Phantom and start it with -server play.cookie-build.com:19132. Allow it through your firewall if asked.
Join from your console
Open Minecraft on your console: Cookie Build shows up as a LAN game in the Worlds tab (the Friends tab in some versions). Select it to join.
Keep the helper open
Keep the app or program open while you connect. Phantom relays your connection, so leave it running while you play.

BedrockTogether and Phantom are third-party tools. They are not operated by Cookie Build.

Tips

Take a photo of your current network settings before changing them, so you can restore them easily.
In BedrockConnect, turn on “Add to server list”: next time, Cookie Build is waiting in the list.
If the BedrockConnect menu closes, crouch or punch to open it again.
No PC? The DNS method only needs your console.

Can I play Cookie Build on PS5?

Why is there no “Add Server” button on PlayStation?
