A real Skyblock Warehouse Chest and seamless lobby visits

Skyblock inventory now follows you safely across lobby visits, while a physical island chest makes shared storage, worker collection and merchant trades much easier to understand.

• You can now return to the main lobby with an active Skyblock inventory. Your items, armour, experience and selected hotbar slot are isolated safely, then restored exactly when you return to your island.
• Every home island now has a physical Warehouse Chest. Clicking it opens the same authoritative stock on Java and Bedrock; workers, the merchant, player market and mobile app all use that one protected inventory.
• The Warehouse Chest shows its contents in the main description and offers clear actions to deposit the held stack, deposit every eligible inventory resource, or withdraw a chosen item and quantity.
• Merchant screens now state exactly where items come from and go. Selling consumes Warehouse Chest stock, buying delivers to it, and a direct Open Warehouse Chest button lets you retrieve purchases immediately.
• Members no longer see merchant, market or withdrawal actions that their island role cannot execute, while they can still view and deposit into the shared chest.
• Worker menus now lead with collection, show unlocked workers, ready output and shared storage usage, and keep overflow safely with the workers when the chest is full.

Deaths now return players to their own island, Bedrock actions always reach a result, merchant purchases are replay-safe, and the generator has a cleaner protected layout.

• Dying in Skyblock now respawns you at the safe home point of your own island instead of the main lobby. Deaths during an island visit also return you home with your inventory, level and Skyblock session intact.
• Unexpected portals or external world transfers are repaired automatically while normal Return to Lobby actions continue to work.
• Generator upgrades, merchant trades, Worker actions, objectives, quests and market actions no longer leave Bedrock players trapped on a waiting screen. Mutations stay non-blocking and every delayed server request has a visible timeout and a safe parent-menu retry path.
• Merchant purchases now carry the exact bank snapshot shown to the player. A delayed or repeated click cannot debit the same offer twice, and a result that finishes after the menu timeout is still announced without reopening the menu.
• Interactive database requests expire before executing when their menu is stale, while durable session, checkpoint and shutdown writes remain guaranteed under queue pressure. Connection, lock and statement limits prevent delayed actions from waiting forever.
• The former poles and signboards have been removed. The physical generator now uses a low, protected basin that contains its water and lava sources while keeping the break-and-collect access clear.
• Co-op removals and departures now require a confirmed safe lobby transfer before membership changes continue, protecting inventory and session ownership if transport fails.

Java players can reach and understand their generator, see upgrade affordability, and prepare their inventory for a queued minigame without a false server error.

• The Java and Bedrock generator menu now separates mining, warehouse access and upgrades. A dedicated action teleports the player safely within reach of the regenerating block and explains that its drops are picked up from the world.
• Generator upgrades show the island bank balance, price and missing amount before confirmation. An insufficient balance is presented as a normal economy outcome with a direct path to the merchant, not as a technical server failure.
• Joining a minigame queue from Skyblock keeps the queue intent active. If Skyblock items still block the eventual hand-off, the existing deposit-all screen opens automatically so the player can prepare without guessing a command.
• A protected inventory exit is no longer logged as a fatal lobby teleport error. Real destination-load and teleport failures remain high-severity server errors.
• The compact Skyblock HUD refreshes before Minecraft fades the action bar, removing the repeated disappear-and-return effect while keeping database refreshes bounded.

Keep playing while your next match fills

Spectating, passive queues and safe match reconnection keep quiet periods useful without pulling players out of Skyblock too early.

• Running MicroBattles, Pitchout, SkyWars, BuildBattles, TurfWars and BedWars matches can be opened in spectator mode from the game menu on Java and Bedrock. Spectators never occupy a participant slot or receive match statistics or rewards.
• While playing Skyblock or watching another match, players can join a minigame queue without leaving their current activity. The move happens only after the waiting room is ready and every selected player can leave safely.
• Queue status and cancellation are available through Java and Bedrock menus. Expired, full or replaced rooms are handled without silently moving a player.
• Players who are alone are guided towards available solo activities, especially Skyblock, while keeping the full game selector one action away.
• A short-lived in-game invitation appears when an underfilled waiting room needs players and again after a match ends. Automatic mobile player calls have been removed; an app notification is sent only after a player or administrator explicitly calls for teammates.
• A player who disconnects from an active match can return to the same MicroBattles, Pitchout, SkyWars, BuildBattles, TurfWars or BedWars session while its safe reconnect reservation is still valid. Cooldowns and temporary effects continue to expire normally while disconnected.
• Profile loading, lobby hand-offs and arena teleports now use a bounded safe-landing window, preventing slow Java or Bedrock world loading from causing a false “Flying is not enabled” kick.

Skyblock gets a complete island economy

A dedicated island bank, merchant, usable warehouse, social islands and deeper progression make every resource useful on Java, Bedrock and mobile.

• Skyblock now uses a dedicated shared island bank instead of the global minigame wallet. Every credit, purchase, fee and upgrade is recorded in an auditable Skyblock ledger.
• A merchant on every island provides guaranteed buy and sell prices for common resources, with safe daily limits so a new island can progress without depending on another game or an empty player market.
• Warehouse resources can be withdrawn safely into the Minecraft inventory. Deposits and withdrawals use recoverable transfers so reconnects and full inventories cannot duplicate or lose a stack.
• Market prices, quantities, unit prices, totals, fees and proceeds are presented consistently. Java, Bedrock and mobile share the same 5% fee and 48-hour listing policy.
• Co-op owners can transfer ownership; members can leave; invitations can be declined or revoked; role changes are audited. Owners and managers alone may spend the shared bank.
• Islands stay private by default but can be published for read-only visits. Players can browse profiles, warp, return home and leave one unique like without being able to alter another island.
• Collections, bounded skill perks, worker upgrades, quests and deterministic daily or weekly objectives provide clearer long-term goals and rewards.

BedWars enters beta at the Cookie Colosseum

Protect your bed, spend bakery cookies and fight across a purpose-built floating arena—now in beta on Java and Bedrock.

Cookie BedWars is now open in beta on Cookie Build. Join a team, defend your bakery bed, collect cookies at your base, bridge to diamond and emerald islands, and eliminate every rival team in the Cookie Colosseum. Java players get native inventory shops and Bedrock players get native forms backed by the same prices and rules. Because this is a beta, the mode may be temporarily disabled while we fix an issue. BedWars beta lobby countdown stabilized

Waiting text now stays visible and a BedWars countdown starts only when at least two opposing teams are represented.

• The waiting status above the hotbar is now refreshed continuously for every queued player instead of fading between updates.
• A party placed together on one team no longer triggers a false countdown while no opposing team is present.
• If a lobby loses a required opponent during the countdown, the timer resets on the next server tick.
• BedWars is now labelled Beta in the Java and Bedrock game selectors while the strict release environment flag continues to control admission.
• Please do not hesitate to report beta bugs on Discord or Twitter/X so we can investigate them quickly.

Your Cookie Build play hub comes to mobile

The companion app adds an earned-coin kit shop, live linked-player status, focused per-game stats and history, and low-noise tools for finding players.

• See your verified Minecraft username and current online status from Home and Profile.
• Spend earned Cookie Build coins on the real MicroBattles and SkyWars kit catalogs, unlock eligible upgrades, and select the kit used in your next match. No real-money purchase is involved.
• Open a focused Stats submenu for games played, wins, win rate, eliminations, a 30-day activity graph, and recent match history per game mode.
• Find players by exact username or recent shared matches, see privacy-scoped friend and party presence, and understand when player-call alerts are disabled.
• Use a low-noise notification setup, category controls, selected-friend alerts, presence privacy, and quiet hours without crowding the main pages.

BedWars preview opens at the Cookie Colosseum

Coming soon: a limited production preview of four-team BedWars with bakery-cookie generators, native Java and Bedrock shops, and a purpose-built floating arena.

• BedWars is tagged Coming Soon while this limited production preview is tested and may be temporarily disabled.
• Protect your team's bed, bridge between floating bakery islands, and eliminate every rival team.
• Your base generator produces match-scoped cookies and golden crumbs; diamond and emerald islands unlock stronger gear and permanent team upgrades.
• Cookie Colosseum is a rotationally balanced arena with four bakery bases, neutral sugar islands, broad cross-platform routes, and a central cookie-jar landmark.
• Java players use native inventory shops while Bedrock players receive native forms backed by the exact same catalog, prices, validation, and purchase rules.
• Parties stay together when a team has room, disconnected players have a 60-second reconnect window, and wins, kills, final kills, beds, coins, and XP are recorded.

True Build Battle replays and fairer judging

Build Battle now keeps rematches in the right game, makes judging fairer and puts more creative tools one click away across Java and Bedrock.

• The replay button now queues another Build Battle instead of falling back to global Quick Play.
• Judging is now anonymous until the results, helping every creation get a fairer vote.
• A Creative Palette shortcut now appears in the hotbar during building.
• The palette includes paintings, safe redstone, lava and a wider selection of passive mobs across Java and Bedrock.
• All existing safety limits for entities, fluids and redstone remain in place.

New guides for every Cookie Build game

Dedicated guides now explain how to join and play Build Battle, MicroBattles, Pitchout, SkyWars and Turf Wars on Bedrock and Java.

• Every live Cookie Build mode now has a dedicated guide with its objective, core rules and connection details.
• A new games directory makes Build Battle, MicroBattles, Pitchout, SkyWars and Turf Wars easier to discover.
• Bedrock players can find the server address and port directly on every game page, alongside Java cross-play information.
• The guides use the current in-game timings, team sizes, maps and win conditions.

Minecraft 26.2 and refreshed Bedrock compatibility

Cookie Build now runs on Paper 26.2 with refreshed Geyser and Floodgate components for current Java and Bedrock clients.

• The server engine has been upgraded to the latest stable Paper 26.2 build.
• Geyser and Floodgate have been refreshed together to improve current Bedrock client compatibility and authentication reliability.
• Existing worlds, player progress, games and gameplay rules are preserved.
• Java cross-version support remains available through the current stable ViaVersion stack.

More reliable SkyWars kit menus

SkyWars progression now initializes safely when several server tasks load a player's kit data at the same time.

• Opening the SkyWars kit menu no longer fails when progression data is being created concurrently.
• The fix applies to both Java and Bedrock players without changing existing kits, coins, XP or selections.
• Existing progression remains untouched; only first-time initialization is serialized.

Clearer player activity in the lobby

Compact game labels and a live activity counter now make it obvious when other players are already in matches.

• Game NPC labels are split across two shorter lines, with clearer JOIN, STARTING and IN GAME states.
• A display above the lobby spawn shows both the total number of players online and how many are currently in game queues or matches.
• Counts refresh every second and deduplicate players across active game rosters.

TurfWars returns

The classic red-versus-blue archery game returns with its recovered arena and a safer cross-platform match lifecycle.

• The original arena has been converted block-for-block to the current Minecraft format.
• Teams alternate between a protected 25-second build phase and 90 seconds of ranged combat.
• Arrow hits advance your turf by two columns; reach the far edge or lead when time expires to win.
• Balanced teams, reconnect recovery, progression, stats, Parties, Quick Play, and Java/Bedrock controls are built in.

Lobby and game quality improvements

Clearer first-join guidance and focused SkyWars and BuildBattles fixes make it easier to choose a game and start playing.

• The lobby now gives all five games a distinctive selector, a short description and direct access from the Cookie Build menu.
• New-player guidance highlights Quick Play, direct game selection and the main community links without repeating on every connection.
• SkyWars now opens the correct kit selector on Java without changing the working Bedrock flow.
• BuildBattles recovers its spare arenas more reliably and supports a wider safe decoration palette.

SkyWars and BuildBattles are back

Two classic Cookie Build modes return with recovered maps, modern progression, and safer match lifecycles.

• SkyWars launches across four recovered arenas with randomized island and middle loot.
• Four balanced SkyWars kits can be unlocked through play, with coins, XP, wins, kills, and stats recorded.
• BuildBattles restores its eight-plot arena, three-choice theme voting, a five-minute build phase, and peer judging from one to five.
• Builders get a floor tool, replay support, rewards and stats, plus a 60-second reconnect grace period.

Reliability and monitoring

The network now detects failures earlier and gives the team enough context to fix them quickly.

• Health probes continuously cover the Minecraft server, website, PostgreSQL, and RabbitMQ.
• Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Alertmanager track usage, performance, logs, and fatal conditions.
• Critical failures notify the Cookie Build team through Discord without interrupting gameplay services.
• Session cleanup and match accounting now guard against stale or duplicated player state.

Cookie Build Mobile 2.0

The companion app is back on iOS and Android with live server information and structured social features.

• See live Java and Bedrock status, connection instructions, gamemodes, events, news, and player leaderboards.
• Securely link your in-game identity with /app link.
• Manage structured Friends and Parties without adding open chat or custom messages.
• Opt in to a player call when someone starts a game or an underfilled queue needs teammates.
• Choose notification categories and manage privacy, account export, and deletion controls directly.

The 2026 update

One year after the Java and Bedrock relaunch, Cookie Build receives new games, progression, social tools, and reliability improvements.

• Java and Bedrock players continue to share the network introduced with the 2025 relaunch.
• Quick Play sends you to the match closest to starting, while persistent Parties keep friends together.
• MicroBattles has been expanded with eight arenas, balanced tiered kits, a weekly free-kit rotation, map voting, assists, and clearer Bedrock menus.
• Pitchout has been upgraded with map voting, instant replay, a live scoreboard, personal match summaries, and progression rewards.
• Weekly goals, achievements, coins, solo practice, feedback, mute, block, and report tools are now available.
• NPC reconciliation and Bedrock interaction fixes make the lobby more reliable.
